Placements24 is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead major civil works in Benoni, Gauteng. You will drive strategic planning, design, and implementation of critical infrastructure projects with a focus on public services.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with standards and budgets, liaise with government agencies, and mentor engineers while delivering high-impact, sustainable solutions for the community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA required.
• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering and project delivery.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client seeks a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead significant infrastructure development initiatives in Benoni . This role involves the strategic planning, design, and implementation of major civil works, focusing on enhancing public infrastructure within the Gauteng province. You will be responsible for technical oversight, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, sustainably, and in full compliance with engineering standards and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, exceptional leadership qualities, and a proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion, driving positive change through engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of large-scale infrastructure projects, including transportation, water, and sanitation systems.
