Placements24 is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our client in Rustenburg, North West. You will oversee complex infrastructure projects, lead on-site teams, and ensure delivery on time and within budget. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, ECSA Pr.

Eng or Pr. Tech Eng registration, and 7+ years in civil construction, roads, earthworks and concrete structures, with strong leadership and contract knowledge (FIDIC/NEC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• ECSA Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech Eng registration required.
• Minimum 7 years in civil engineering construction and project management.
• Experience managing road construction, earthworks, and concrete structures.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with FIDIC or NEC contracts.
• Lead teams and perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the North West province.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete civil projects per contract specs.
• Oversee site operations safely and with high quality.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare reports and project closure documents.
• Resolve on-site issues and implement corrective actions.
