You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient road systems. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning of road and highway projects, including geometric design, pavement design, and traffic management plans.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documentation for tender and execution.
• Conduct site investigations, traffic studies, and feasibility assessments for proposed road infrastructure.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review contractor submittals and respond to site queries during the construction phase.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior civil engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation or Highway Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the design and construction supervision of roads and highways.
• Proficiency in road design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Civil Designer, Pavement Management Systems).
• Strong knowledge of geometric design, pavement engineering, traffic engineering, and stormwater management for roads.
• Experience in managing project deliverables and working on site supervision.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA is required.
