Job summary

Lerena Recruitment Services is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer (PR Eng.) for a Pretoria area role. The candidate will lead civil design projects, conduct site investigations, and drive technical feasibility studies while coordinating with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements include B.Eng or BSc in Civil Engineering, ECSA PR Eng. registration, and 8+ years’ experience in road design, earthworks, and infrastructure. Travel between offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering (B.Eng or BSc).
• Registered with ECSA as PR Eng.
• 8+ years’ experience in civil design and project leadership.
• Experience in bulk earthworks, road design, parking areas, sports fields and infrastructure.
• Collaborate effectively within project teams.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, Model Maker and AutoCAD.
• Consult with clients and other consultants.
• Supervise construction projects and manage budgets/resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure ISO 9001 – quality documentation compliance.

Civil Engineer and Project Lead PTA – PR ENG

R600,000 to R840,000 CTC

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Professional Civil Engineer (B.Eng. or BSc) with strong experience in civil design registered with ECSA (PR Eng.)
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Experience in bulk earthworks, road design, parking areas, sports fields, bulk infrastructure services, commercial development infrastructure and road design
• Collaborate well within project teams
• Using computer software such as Civil 3D, Model Maker, AutoCAD
• Consulting with clients and other consultants
• Supervising construction projects
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Mentoring junior engineers and technicians
• Making sure all documentation issued conforms with the ISO 9001 – Quality standards
