Job summary

Wood is seeking a senior civil draughtsperson to produce concrete models and drawings for plant construction projects in Midrand, South Africa. You will work to accepted engineering practices and Wood's drafting procedures.

You will ensure safe design work, adhere to HSE policies, meet schedules, and train junior draughtspersons while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance with project standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years design draughting experience, of which 5 years are in the mining and minerals processing area.
• Familiar with relevant 2D & 3D CAD software, company Drafting Procedures.
• Be experienced in the use of Revit for concrete & rebar.
• Be experienced in the use of Revit for architectural layouts & details.
• Be able to produce quality detail drawings in accordance with draughting standards, aligned with a demanding project schedule.
• Broad knowledge of construction and operations.
• Good understanding of technology.
• Experience with Process Plant design and layout.

Responsibilities
