Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a senior draughtsman with 8+ years in heavy engineering, mining, or manufacturing to deliver high-quality detailed drawings and robust 3D models for large equipment and plant layouts.

You will generate GA drawings and fabrication packages, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate across engineering, project, procurement, and workshop teams. Mentoring junior draughtsmen and driving design improvements are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Draughting.
• 8+ years of draughting experience within heavy engineering, mining, manufacturing, process equipment, or industrial projects.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation.
• Experience working with large mechanical assemblies and equipment designs.
• Ability to interpret engineering calculations, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
