Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Childcare Consultant & Remote Program Advisor to provide expert guidance to childcare providers and families in Randburg, Gauteng. The role blends on-site assessments with strategic remote advisory services.

You will evaluate operations, develop improvement plans, advise on curriculum and regulatory compliance, and design remote learning strategies to enhance parent-child engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in childcare management, consulting, or program development.
• Proven expertise in childcare operations, curriculum design, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in developing or advising on remote learning programs or digital childcare solutions.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and effective pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in using various software applications, including project management and communication tools.
• Ability to travel locally for on-site consultations within the Randburg, Gauteng, ZA vicinity.
• A proactive approach and a commitment to advancing the quality of childcare services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site assessments of childcare facilities to evaluate operational efficiency, safety, and program quality.
• Develop and implement strategic improvement plans for childcare centers.
• Provide expert advice on curriculum development, staff training, and regulatory compliance.
• Design and advise on the implementation of effective remote learning and engagement programs for children.
• Guide childcare providers on leveraging technology for enhanced parent-teacher communication and virtual activities.
• Offer remote consultations and ongoing support to childcare providers and families.
• Develop training materials and deliver workshops (in-person and virtual) on relevant childcare topics.
• Stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices in early childhood education and childcare management.
• Analyze data and feedback to recommend and implement program enhancements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the childcare sector.
