Placements24 is seeking a Senior Childcare Coordinator and Program Developer to elevate the quality and scope of childcare services. You will shape curricula and programs, lead teams, and ensure safety, education, and emotional support for children.

Based in Mahikeng, North West, this hybrid role offers flexible contributions across on-site and remote components, guiding policy, budgets, and stakeholder engagement to advance childcare innovation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive childcare management experience with program development focus.
• Proven curriculum design and implementation experience for multiple age groups.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance in childcare.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a Hybrid setup with potential remote components.
• Must operate within Mahikeng, North West framework.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate various childcare programs and services to ensure quality and consistency.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate new and existing childcare programs and curricula, focusing on age-appropriate learning and development.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to childcare staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, health, and safety standards.
• Manage budgets and resources allocated to childcare programs effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new methodologies and best practices.
• Analyze childcare needs and trends to inform program development and strategic planning.
• Contribute to policy development and operational improvements within the childcare division.
