Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemistry and PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• At least 7 years of Chemistry teaching at senior secondary level.
• Proven track record of excellent Chemistry results.
• Knowledge of national Chemistry curriculum requirements.
• Experience with lab safety and practical experiments.
• SACE registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Chemistry lessons for Grades 10-12.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies to monitor progress.
• Create and maintain a safe laboratory environment for experiments.
• Integrate real-world concepts into the curriculum.
• Prepare students for internal and matriculation examinations.
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture promoting inquiry.
• Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum initiatives.
