Placements24 is seeking a Senior Chemistry Lecturer for a prestigious Stellenbosch academic institution. You will deliver advanced lectures and supervise postgraduate research, contributing to research output and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years university-level teaching experience, at lecturer or senior lecturer level.
• Strong publication record in reputable journals.
• Proven experience supervising student research projects.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage students in a traditional academic setting.

Responsabilités

• Deliver lectures and practical lab sessions in organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, notes, assignments, and manuals.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects with experimental design and data analysis.
• Contribute to department research output through publications and conferences.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and student support on Stellenbosch campus.
