Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in chemical plant operations and maintenance.
• Proven expertise in process troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and maintenance strategies.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance within the chemical industry.
• Experience with CMMS is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with project management for plant upgrades and modifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the chemical plant, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational and equipment failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Oversee plant turnarounds and major maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
• Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and supply chain teams to optimize plant performance.
• Train and mentor plant operators and maintenance staff on best practices and standard operating procedures.
