Job summary

Qualifications

• B.Eng or BTech in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 1-3 years in an engineering or production-related environment preferred.
• Strong ability to perform and interpret process calculations and mass balances.
• Willingness to lead and develop a shift-based team.
• Experience with P&ID, process simulation and plant automation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control and safety.
• Develop strategic plans to achieve production goals, optimise resources and control costs.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Lead and develop plant personnel, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Plant Manager for planned downtime and downtime safety.
