Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product development, process scale-up, or R&D within the chemical industry.
• Strong understanding of organic chemistry, polymer science, or material science, depending on specialization.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment, analytical techniques (e.g., GC, HPLC, spectroscopy), and pilot plant operations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to product innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development activities for new chemical products and formulations.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments to test product performance and process feasibility.
• Scale up promising laboratory processes to pilot and then full production scale.
• Analyze product and process data, preparing comprehensive reports and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand market needs and customer requirements.
• Ensure new products and processes meet all relevant regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
