The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering, 5+ years in related areas, and a proven track record of bringing new chemical products to market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in new product development, process design, or scale-up within the chemical industry.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing new chemical products to market.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process design principles and equipment.
• Experience with process simulation and modeling tools is beneficial.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process development and scale-up of new chemical products from laboratory to pilot and commercial scales.
• Conduct process design, optimization, and economic evaluations for new manufacturing routes.
• Collaborate with R&D chemists to understand product requirements and translate them into feasible manufacturing processes.
• Prepare technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
• Support manufacturing teams during process validation and initial production runs.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and equipment for manufacturing new products.
