Placements24 is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to optimize processes and improve efficiency across refining and chemical production units. The role is based at our technical center with remote work flexibility, focusing on data analysis and innovative solutions via virtual collaboration.

You will lead debottlenecking, energy efficiency and throughput projects, implement advanced process control, and run simulations to assess yield, energy use and product quality.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in chemical engineering within petrochemical or refining industry.
• Proven expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
• Strong background in thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, and separation processes relevant to petrochemicals.
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization and advanced process control (APC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, adept at virtual teamwork.
• Knowledge of process safety principles is essential.
