Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years in chemical engineering, with 4+ years in fertilizer or related chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ammonia, urea, or phosphate production processes.
• Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively on-site, both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for technical reporting and collaboration.
• Commitment to fostering a safe and compliant working environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the chemical processes involved in fertilizer production.
• Ensure operational efficiency, yield maximization, and cost control.
• Conduct PHAs and implement robust safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and develop corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth production.
• Participate in design and debottlenecking projects.
• Ensure adherence to SHE regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, performance analyses, and recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
