Placements24 is seeking a Senior Character Modeler in East London to join a renowned game studio. You will create high- and low-poly characters, sculpt anatomy, and build game-ready assets compatible with Unreal Engine or Unity.

The role demands a strong portfolio, 5+ years of experience, and collaboration with artists and engineers to translate concepts into polished 3D characters for next-gen titles.

Qualificações

• Portfolio showcasing exceptional 3D character modeling for games.
• 5+ years of professional experience in game character modeling.
• Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
• Proficiency in ZBrush or Mudbox.
• Solid understanding of human and creature anatomy, form and silhouette.
• Experience with game-ready assets including UV unwrapping and optimization.
• Familiarity with PBR texturing workflows and game engines (Unreal/Unity).
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information within a team.

Responsabilidades

• Model high- and low-polygon character assets for games.
• Sculpt detailed characters with accurate anatomy and silhouette.
• Create clean topology for animation and real-time rendering.
• Develop UV layouts and texture maps with texture artists.
• Ensure assets meet engine requirements and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with concept artists and art directors to translate 2D designs.
• Participate in character reviews and provide feedback.
