Job summary

AeroStruct Consulting (PTY) Ltd in Centurion, South Africa, seeks a Senior Certifying Engineer to contribute to SACAA Part 21 design, analysis, integration and testing, and certification of systems related to aerodynamics, aerostructures, propulsion, avionics and flight performance.

The successful candidate will work with the Incomar Group and support potential expansion to military and international regulators, perform design reviews, document technical data, and assist with audits and travel

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering with aero subjects.
• Experience with SACAA CATS/CARS Part 21 certification processes.
• Familiarity with ADO requirements under SACAA CATS and CARS Part 147.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analysis per SACAA Part 21 guidance.
• Conduct structural analysis and flight performance assessments.
• Prototype, test, and certify systems; support with avionics/electrical integration.
• Lead design reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with manufacturing support and audits.
