Job summary

NTT DATA in Motherwell is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician focused on CAD design and 3D printing. You will produce precise drawings and models for jigs, fixtures and tooling while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining a structured archive of design records.

The role requires hands-on printer operation, GD&T knowledge, and collaboration with multiple engineering functions to deliver compliant prototypes and tooling on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent technical education with CAD/3D printing focus.
• Experience applying GD&T and engineering drawing standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using 3D printing technologies and materials selection.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify accurate 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for jigs, fixtures and tooling.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers, calibrate settings and select materials.
• Design validation, fit-up and iteration on production line.
• Ensure compliance with SANS/NBR where applicable and maintain design records.
