Job summary

Aon South Africa is recruiting a Senior Broker in our Specialty department, based on a hybrid basis from our Head Office in Sandton. The role focuses on client relationships, portfolio management, and technical service delivery in Construction & Engineering.

The ideal candidate will bring C&E broking experience, knowledge of policy wordings, and strong interpersonal skills to support clients and colleagues across the country.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferable.
• Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act.
• Must be registered as an associate with the IISA.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary point of contact within the broking team for specific clients in order to provide specialist advice to the clients and colleagues (country-wide).
• Provides advice to clients and colleagues on placement design, available coverage and capacity, pricing, potential coverage enhancements and market progress within scope of responsibility.
• Negotiates terms and conditions of placement.
• Works in partnership with clients (where applicable) and colleagues to ensure clients needs and expectations are met.
