Job summary

Aon South Africa is seeking a Client Services Advisor to support our Cyber and PI Tech practice; this hybrid role combines virtual work with time in the Sandton office. You will work closely with Client Managers and Account Executives to service existing clients and explore new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a background in short-term insurance, strong client service, and developing knowledge of cyber, PI tech, multimedia, IP and AI, with a focus on accurate broking

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in cyber, risk management, insurance or related discipline is preferable.
• Registration as a FSCA representative under FAIS Act.
• Cyber, insurance or related professional accreditation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary day-to-day contact for allocated clients and respond promptly and professionally.
• Support the full client lifecycle across new business and renewals, including information requests, proposals, submissions and quotations.
• Prepare clear quote requests, market submissions and identify missing information for follow-up with clients and insurers.
• Assist with needs analysis by helping clients consider cover, limits, retentions and key features.
• Prepare renewal documentation, quote comparisons, and client or insurer-facing records.
• Coordinate renewal notices, reminders and pre-renewal activity to meet timelines.
• Communicate with insurers regarding quotations, coverage, endorsements and negotiations.
• Support invoicing, credit control and accurate client portfolio record-keeping.
• Provide initial incident and claims coordination with claims specialists.
