ATS Client in Cape Town is seeking a seasoned Senior C# Developer to join a forward-thinking team focused on world-class technology and measurable outcomes for customers. The role requires deep backend expertise (C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs) and frontend familiarity (TypeScript). Reference MAT61387; salary up to R1.5m per year, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Software Engineering (preferred), or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of full-time software development experience in a company team environment, including building and operating cloud environments in production.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Bicep), CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure), and automated testing.
• Experience in a SaaS product company, startup, or scaleup preferred.
• Proficiency with backend and some frontend development; C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core (Web APIs), RESTful APIs, TypeScript.
• Foundations in data structures, algorithms, software design, version control, and collaborative workflows.
• SQL (including SQL Server) and/or NoSQL; preferably with Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with modular monolith/microservices cloud-native architectures, CQRS, DI, FluentValidation, JSON, TPL.
• Cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• SaaS and PaaS architectures, multi-tenancy, high availability, scaling.
• Cloud networking concepts: hub-and-spoke, VPNs, SD-WAN, firewalls.
