Job summary

Salt is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 12 month contract in Cape Town. The role is hybrid (3 days in office) within the Technology and Innovation function, focusing on a M365 integration and migration programme.

Senior Business Analyst | Contract | Cape Town | Hybrid

R600–R750/hour

We're placing a Senior Business Analyst into a high-visibility integration programme at a well-established organisation in Cape Town. This is a contract role sitting within the Technology and Innovation function - hybrid, 3 days in office.

The role

You'll lead business analysis across a complex M365 integration and broader migration initiative, working across multiple regions and stakeholder groups. This isn't a backseat BA position - you'll own end-to-end requirements definition, drive current-state and target end-state process gap assessments, and act as the bridge between business, technology, and delivery teams.

Expect strong governance focus: data reconciliation, controls verification, UAT, and ensuring everything aligns with GDPR and internal audit frameworks.

What you'll be doing

• Leading requirements definition and documentation across business and technical workstreams
• Facilitating workshops with stakeholders from business, risk, and technical disciplines
• Translating compliance and security needs into functional and technical specifications
• Supporting UAT and controls verification aligned with internal audit frameworks
• Performing data reconciliation across systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of migrated data
• Assessing data and process risks against governance and control frameworks

What you need

• 5+ years of business analysis experience on technology-led change programmes
• Demonstrated experience in system integrations and complex business migrations
• Solid grasp of governance, risk, and control frameworks
• IAM governance experience (AD, Azure AD, SSO, MFA) - advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management across seniority levels and regions
• Comfortable working autonomously on a high-profile programme
• CBAP or CCBA certification is advantageous
