Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an experienced Analyst in Durban North with 5+ years in large-scale projects and a background in IT/CS or related fields. You will translate regulatory and business needs into clear requirements, working with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver compliant, customer-focused solutions.

You will collaborate across product areas, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and ensure traceability from concepts to delivery, while maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of analyst experience on large-scale projects.
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT/CS, Social Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.
• IT industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and articulate product opportunities and translate into business requirements with full traceability.
• Balance regulatory and business requirements to deliver customer experience and revenue.
• Work across a broad spectrum of products and teams.
• Engage with BAs, Dev teams, compliance and stakeholders.
• Define business and technical requirements for project development for client-centered solutions.
• Communicate with Regulators, third parties, Dev, Testing and Product Owners.
• Build good relationships and manage high context switching.
• Be detailed, methodical and open to feedback.
• Adapt to a fast pace with changing priorities.

• Must have minimum 5 years experience in an Analyst role working on large scale projects / experience in strategic analysis activities.
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT/Computer Science, Social Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• IT industry experience advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Identify, and articulate product opportunities, combined with analysis of regulatory legal documentation and translate them into business requirement documents with full traceability.
• You will also need to consider the stakeholders business drivers and find the right balance between regulatory and business requirements to ensure we continue to provide the best solution that drives both the best customer experience and revenue.
• You will work across a broad spectrum of products and teams.
• Engaging and liaising with other BAs, Dev teams and compliance as well as managing stakeholders.
• To define business and technical requirements for project development and ensure that client-centered, best business defined and validated solutions that meet business needs, goals or objectives are implemented to deliver on key projects.
