Placements24 in Centurion, Gauteng, seeks a Senior Installation Specialist to lead installation and commissioning of building management systems across commercial sites. This hands-on role demands technical leadership and precise execution.

Qualifications

5+ years in installing and commissioning integrated building systems, with 2+ years in a senior/lead role.
Proficient in building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus), CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, building plans and technical manuals.
Strong low-voltage knowledge and networking principles.
Excellent diagnostic, leadership and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Lead installation and commissioning of building management systems (HVAC, access, fire, security).
Interpret designs and documentation for accurate installation.
Supervise and mentor junior technicians on-site.
Perform on-site testing, calibration, and troubleshooting per specs.
Coordinate with PMs, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
Ensure safety protocols and maintain safe sites.
