Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree at Masters level in Accountancy, Business Administration, Management, Financial Management, Public Administration/Budgeting and Finance or similar.
• Certified Professional Accountant or Chartered Accountant.
• Experience in IPSAS and ERP systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead capacity building and strengthen internal communications for budget and finance teams.
• Manage region-wide financial management of Programme Budget, awards, income and expenditure variance analysis.
• Provide guidance on Delegation of Authority (DoA) and budgeting processes across AFRO.
• Coordinate regional budget preparation, monitoring and donor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IPSAS and organizational financial policies.
