Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly creative Senior Broadcast Graphics Designer in Port Elizabeth to conceptualize and execute dynamic on-air graphics for television, live events, and digital platforms.

You will lead the design of title sequences, lower thirds, transitions, and animations, collaborating with production teams to deliver visually compelling content while maintaining brand consistency across shows and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in graphic design or animation.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in broadcast graphics or motion design.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Experience with 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D is a significant advantage.
• Strong typography, color theory, and composition skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality broadcast graphics (title sequences, lower thirds, bugs, animations, video wall content).
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and editors to understand project requirements and visual objectives.
• Translate briefs into compelling on-air graphics while ensuring brand consistency.
• Operate broadcast graphics systems and software effectively.
• Stay current with industry trends and optimize graphics for various platforms.
