Job summary

AVBOB Group is seeking a Senior Branch Clerk for our Springs Insurance Office in Johannesburg. You will deliver excellent customer service to policyholders and ensure requests are processed efficiently and accurately within the set timeframes.

You will support claims, policy services, premium administration, and daily banking cash handling while maintaining accurate records and effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration and customer service.
• Ability to process enquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with cash handling and banking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide general reception duties and warmly greet clients.
• Assist walk-in clients with enquiries per client services policy.
• Utilize resources to handle and complete enquiries.
• Communicate processes, delays and system problems to clients.
• Handle claims, policy services and premium administration.
• Manage petty cash and collect premiums from clients.
• Prepare cash for daily banking at the finance department.
• Refer new business to the relevant consultant.
• Handle fraud allegations and complaints.
• Prepare monthly and weekly statistics reports.
• Support general office duties as required.
