Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer for a Centurion-based airline operator in Gauteng. You will ensure airworthiness and readiness of the Boeing 737 fleet, upholding safety and reliability standards.

You will lead maintenance activities, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with SACAA and EASA Part-145 while collaborating with flight operations and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• A recognized Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) license or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with significant Boeing 737 exposure.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 and SACAA regulations.
• Proficiency in using aircraft maintenance software and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Boeing 737 aircraft, including line and base tasks.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues per manufacturer specs and regs.
• Conduct inspections and serviceability checks; document work per standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians; enforce safety protocols.
