Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Mossel Bay to lead maintenance operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers. You will oversee major checks, ensure adherence to manufacturer specs and SACAA regulations, and drive safety and efficiency across the fleet.
The role requires a strong work ethic, extensive heavy maintenance experience, and proven leadership.
Formación
- Minimum 5 years in aircraft maintenance.
- Strong background in heavy maintenance.
- Experience with various aircraft types, preferably commercial airliners.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance documentation.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with SACAA regulations.
Responsabilidades
- Lead maintenance operations and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and rectify complex faults across systems.
- Supervise technicians and engineers during major checks.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
- Maintain detailed work records and reports.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and regulators.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff.
- Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
