About the Role

Our client, a leading enterprise technology solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Senior Blockchain Architect to lead the design and implementation of blockchain strategies for large organizations in Kimberley, Northern Cape. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of distributed ledger technologies and their application in solving complex business problems. You will guide clients through the adoption of blockchain, architecting robust, scalable, and secure solutions that drive efficiency and transparency. This is a key strategic position focused on shaping the future of enterprise blockchain adoption within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain platforms and technologies (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum Enterprise, Corda).
• Define technical roadmaps, strategies, and standards for blockchain implementation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for blockchain integration.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in designing and implementing enterprise blockchain platforms and protocols.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, consensus mechanisms, cryptography and smart contracts.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing complex technology projects from inception to completion.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
