Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in Bioinformatics or related quantitative field.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in bioinformatics with leadership.
• Strong programming in Python, R and/or Perl; shell scripting.
• Experience with HPC environments and cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of statistical genetics and genomic data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable bioinformatic pipelines for NGS data analysis.
• Lead and mentor a team of bioinformaticians, assigning tasks and overseeing progress.
• Collaborate with biologists to design experiments and interpret complex data.
• Implement cutting-edge algorithms for genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data analysis.
