The ideal candidate holds a PhD or MSc with 6+ years in computational biology, and is proficient in Python, R, or C++. You will build reproducible pipelines, publish findings, and contribute to groundbreaking research.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's with strong biological component.
• Minimum of 6 years in computational biology.
• Proficiency in Python, R or C++, and relevant scientific libraries.
• Strong grasp of biological pathways and experimental data types (NGS, microarrays).
• Experience with statistics, machine learning, and data visualization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement computational strategies for analyzing large biological datasets (genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics).
• Develop and validate algorithms and software tools to support research and discovery.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists to interpret data and design future experiments.
• Build and maintain reproducible analysis pipelines and databases for biological information.
• Stay current with advances in computational biology, bioinformatics, and related fields.
• Present findings and contribute to publications and internal reports.
