Job summary

Communicate Recruitment is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to design, build and maintain BI solutions in Paarl, enabling data-driven decisions for the business.

You will work with large datasets, develop ETL pipelines, optimize data models, and create dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense, collaborating with stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and development.
• Strong experience with ETL tools and concepts.
• Expertise in at least one major BI visualization tool (Power BI/Tableau).
• Understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable BI solutions including data warehouses, data marts, and reporting systems.
• Create and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.
