Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer in Klerksdorp, North West to lead backend development for our FinTech platform. You will design scalable services, APIs, and robust data storage while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality features.

The role emphasizes secure, high-performance code, automated testing, and ongoing learning in a dynamic fintech environment. Office-based position with a balance of collaboration and autonomy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proven expertise in one or more backend languages (Java, Python, C#, Go, Node.js).
• Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms, and Docker.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, scalable, documented code in Java, Python, or C#.
