About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Aviation Project Manager to lead critical projects within their aviation division in Vereeniging . This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex aviation projects on time and within budget. You will oversee all phases of project lifecycles, from initiation and planning to execution and closure, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with diverse teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency are maintained throughout all project endeavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically in the aviation industry.
• Proven success in managing large-scale, complex aviation projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
