Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive NVH Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity within South Africa. You will analyze, design, and implement NVH solutions to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness across vehicle components and platforms.
The role requires 7+ years in automotive NVH, strong acoustics knowledge, and hands-on experience with simulation and measurement tools. You will mentor junior engineers, report findings, and stay current with NVH advancements.
Qualificações
- Master's degree or PhD with NVH specialization as per job requirements.
- 7+ years of progressive automotive NVH experience.
- Experience with analytical (FEA/BEM) and experimental NVH methods.
- Proficiency with NVH CAE software and data acquisition hardware.
Responsabilidades
- Conduct NVH analysis and testing on vehicle components and full vehicles.
- Develop NVH countermeasures and meet performance targets.
- Utilize ANSA/Simcenter 3D for modal analysis and acoustic studies.
- Perform field testing and data acquisition with accelerometers and microphones.
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate NVH early in development.
- Identify root causes and communicate findings clearly.
- Prepare technical reports and stay updated on NVH tech.
- Mentor junior NVH engineers and contribute knowledge.
