Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automotive Software Engineer specializing in Infotainment (IVI). You will design, develop, and integrate software for in-vehicle infotainment systems, including UI/UX, multimedia, navigation, and connectivity features.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in automotive IVI, strong C++/Java expertise, and hands-on work with embedded Linux and RTOS environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development, with 3+ years in automotive IVI.
• Experience with embedded Linux and RTOS.
• Familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN/Ethernet).
• UI/UX for embedded devices or mobile apps desirable.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement software features for automotive infotainment systems using C++, Java, or other relevant languages.
• Design and build UI/UX for in-vehicle displays.
• Integrate multimedia players, navigation, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and device connectivity (Android Auto, CarPlay).
• Work with RTOS and embedded Linux environments.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate concepts into software.
• Optimize performance within embedded constraints.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Coordinate with system engineers and hardware teams for integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects reported by testing or end users.
• Stay current with IVI and embedded systems trends.
