Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- 7+ years in automotive electronics hardware design and development.
- Experience with schematic design tools and PCB layout principles.
- Knowledge of automotive MCUs, sensors, PMICs, CAN/LIN/Ethernet, ISO 26262.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive electronic hardware with schematic capture and PCB oversight.
- Select components and ensure reliability and performance in automotive environments.
- Develop hardware validation plans including environmental and EMC testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers for hardware‑software integration.
- Translate system requirements into hardware specifications.
- Troubleshoot hardware design issues and component failures.
- Stay updated with automotive electronics trends and design tools.
- Mentor junior engineers and share hardware design best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of hardware development processes.
