Qualifications

• Valid Air Traffic Controller License with relevant ratings (Aerodrome, Approach, Area Control).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a certified Air Traffic Controller.
• Senior or Supervisory ATC experience is highly advantageous.
• Thorough knowledge of ICAO Standards and SACAA regulations.
• Proven ability to remain calm, decisive, and effective under pressure.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observational skills and ability to process complex information rapidly.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining certifications.

Responsabilités

• Direct and manage air traffic in a busy airspace, ensuring safety regulations are followed.
• Maintain vigilance and communicate with pilots, issuing clearances and flight information.
• Monitor radar displays and surveillance systems to track aircraft positions.
• Coordinate with other ATC units, airlines, and aviation authorities.
• Identify and respond to conflicts, emergencies, and unusual situations.
• Mentor and train junior ATC specialists and provide feedback.
• Participate in operational reviews, safety audits, and development of new procedures.
