Placements24 partners with a key aviation infrastructure management client to recruit a Senior Air Traffic Control Systems Analyst in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The role combines on-site collaboration with remote flexibility, supporting safety, efficiency, and reliability of ATC systems.

The successful candidate will analyze radar, CNS, and ATM services; identify improvement opportunities; develop integration plans; and contribute to system testing, documentation, and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of ATC systems analysis/engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of radar, CNS, and ATM principles.
• Experience with data analysis for system performance evaluation.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations relevant to ATC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the performance and reliability of ATC systems (radar, CNS, surveillance).
• Identify vulnerabilities and propose enhancement plans.
• Evaluate new ATC technologies and integration options.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system specs.
• Collaborate with ATC personnel, engineers, and project managers for seamless operations.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and commissioning.
• Monitor system health and generate performance reports.
• Provide expert advice on upgrades and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with national and international aviation standards.
