Qualifications

• LLB degree and SA admission as attorney.
• Minimum 5 years PQE in public law and/or commercial litigation.
• Experience with PFMA, MFMA, PPPFA, PAJA, PAIA and PPPs preferred.
• LLM or postgraduate qualification in public/infrastructure law advantageous.
• Right of appearance in the High Court advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft advisory opinions, memos and compliance frameworks on regulatory matters.
• Prepare due diligence and compliance reports across sectors including PPPs.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, court bundles and brief counsel for hearings.
• Advise on regulatory and governance matters for public and private clients.
• Advise on procurement processes, tender documentation and compliance.
• Participate in business development and marketing for the team.
