Placements24 is seeking a Dispute Resolution Associate for a prominent Cape Town law firm. You will manage complex litigation, assist in arbitration and mediation, and provide strategic advocacy for a diverse client base including corporations and high-net-worth individuals.

The role requires strong civil procedure knowledge, superior negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently within a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted SA High Court attorney with 4+ years in litigation.
• Experience in commercial dispute resolution.
• Solid understanding of civil procedure rules and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of civil litigation from inception to conclusion.
• Represent clients in courts and arbitral forums.
• Draft pleadings, applications and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions.
• Negotiate settlements and ADR processes.
• Coordinate with clients, counsel and court officials.
