Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in architectural design with a track record leading significant projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience in sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Star).
• Strong portfolio showcasing urban development and sustainability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and mentor teams.
• SACAP registration is highly desirable; familiar with SA building codes and regulations.

• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards throughout the design and construction phases.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and materials in sustainable architecture and urban design.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a proven track record in leading significant projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience in sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Star).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality architectural designs, with an emphasis on urban development and sustainability.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is highly desirable.
