Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings and specifications.
• Develop detailed construction drawings including plans, sections, elevations and details.
• Prepare and coordinate documentation for planning applications and building permits.
• Utilise CAD and BIM software for design development and documentation production.
• Support site visits, inspections and construction administration tasks.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and clients as directed by the Project Architect.
• Ensure drawings and documents comply with relevant codes and standards.
• Maintain project files and documentation organized and up-to-date.
• Collaborate effectively within the project team to achieve design goals.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established architectural practice based in Benoni , Gauteng, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Architectural Assistant to support their growing team. This role involves contributing to various stages of the architectural process, from design development and documentation to site supervision. You will work closely with Project Architects and other team members on a diverse range of projects. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining the benefits of on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical drawing skills, proficiency in relevant software, and a keen interest in furthering their architectural career within the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications.


• Develop detailed construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
