Job summary

Royal York Property Management is seeking an experienced receivables professional to oversee customer account accuracy, overdue balance recovery, and collection reporting. This senior individual-contributor role requires proactive account management and direct customer communication.

You will coordinate with internal teams, assess disputes, and apply payments, with a focus on Canadian-company experience. The role is full-time with EST/Ontario hours and offers a base CAD 30k–40k plus performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of AR, collections, billing, or accounting operations experience.
• Strong background supporting Canadian companies is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; professional designation is a plus.
• Experience managing AR administration and active collections across portfolios.
• Proven ability to apply payments and resolve unapplied cash; negotiate payment schedules.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by telephone and email regarding outstanding balances.
• Manage follow-up across 30-, 60-, and 90-day receivables and escalate major issues.
• Maintain accurate customer balances, histories, and billing records; apply payments.
• Resolve unapplied receipts, deductions, and credits; reconcile accounts.
• Prepare collection forecasts and reports of cash receipts; support month-end close.
