Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony or Adobe Animate.
• Solid understanding of animation principles and storytelling.
• Experience with rigging 2D characters is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Animate 2D characters and assets with a focus on appealing performance and acting.
• Develop and execute animation cycles, keyframes, and in-between frames for various projects.
• Collaborate with directors, story artists, and other animators to achieve the desired visual style and storytelling.
• Provide feedback and guidance to junior animators, ensuring adherence to animation principles and quality standards.
• Optimize animation assets for performance and integration into the game engine or pipeline.
• Contribute to the development of animation style guides and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator , with a strong portfolio showcasing character animation.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 2D animation software such as Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, or similar.
• Deep understanding of animation principles (e.g., timing, spacing, squash and stretch, anticipation).
• Experience with rigging 2D characters is a significant plus.
• Excellent visual communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
