Placements24 is seeking a Senior Animator to join our arts and entertainment client in Mossel Bay. This hybrid role focuses on character and environment animation for multiple projects, collaborating with directors and artists.

You will mentor junior animators, contribute to the production pipeline, and ensure high-quality motion that matches storytelling goals and style guides. Proficiency in Maya or Blender is essential, with motion capture cleanup a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in 3D character animation for film, games, or related entertainment media.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional animation skills, character performance, and timing.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D animation software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or similar.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, cinematography, and storytelling.
• Experience with motion capture cleanup and integration is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to receive and provide constructive feedback.
