The Lesaka Merchant Division is looking for a Senior Android Mobile Engineer (DevOps) to join our growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative Point of Sale and payment solutions that empower merchants and small businesses across South Africa. Working alongside experienced engineering leaders and a dedicated QA team, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling mobile solutions while influencing architecture decisions, mentoring developers, and driving engineering excellence. Purpose of the Role The Senior Android Mobile Engineer (DevOps) will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimising Android applications deployed on custom Android devices. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performing applications while contributing to software architecture, DevOps processes, and continuous improvement initiatives that support a world-class engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Software Development & Architecture

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
