Placements24 seeks a Senior Mobile Application Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance mobile apps for iOS and Android in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will mentor junior developers and drive architectural excellence within an agile team.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with product managers and designers, and ensure robust, scalable solutions while staying current with mobile trends and platform guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in native mobile application development.
• Proven experience developing applications for iOS (Swift, Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin, Java).
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile data persistence.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
